Grechetto – IGT Umbria Bianco

We love soft and scented wines made with grapes of our territory.
Regulations impose us wines that do not represent our friendly and “collegiate” character.
For this reason we decided to produce IGT wines renouncing to DOC and DOCG business advantages

Every Wine needs proper bunches selected to the right maturation.

For Grechetto we select manually the 28% of grapes coming from our vineyards.

Grapes have a short cold maceration, before the pressing, followed by alcoholic fermentation under controlled temperature.

After the fermentation, wine ages on the lees.

The colour is straw yellow, crystalline.

The bouquet is a precious wedding between fruit and spring flowers. Nectarine, banana, hazelnut, broom and chamomile are the most evident notes of the bouquet.

Acidity and saltiness express with sincerity the terroir and the variety. The uniqueness of this product is its softness obtained thanks to advanced vinification techniques, respecting tradition, which makes it well-balanced.

At 8° C it is an excellent aperitif, with few degrees more it is perfect with first and second courses, with fish, white meat and soups.
