Getting up in the early morning for the harvest, picking up the best bunches, putting them in some 30 kilos baskets to avoid the weight to crush the raisins, bringing the baskets at the winery to start selecting, on vibrating tables just the healthy bunches and raisins that, once crushed, will start the fermentation process.
This, for those who work at the winery, is a regular day in September/October but, for most, is an escape from the city rush, an opportunity to spend and healthy day in touch with nature.
Our winery is at your disposal for team building events, or for spending a day with your friends and experience the harvest.
This is what the team of BCC di Spello e Bettona did, in a fight “to the last grape!”: each team is evaluated under some simple rules, to reward just one team as the winner of Rossobastardo Prize. And that’s not all: each participant had a bottle of the wine they “harvested” as a present for Christmas.
